Can’t stand another second in here

It’s like the air-conditioner went off

And the heat went up

My eyes roll in desperation

Tired of hearing the same things

I’ve spent 30 minutes in this class

Yet it feels like three centuries went by

All I hear is crap

BLAH! BLAH! BLAH!

She goes on and on in class

Telling us about things we really don’t care about

Can’t say I’ve heard a single word

Yet it’s still far from over

I see her lips move on and on

Showing the class phrase by phrase

But my mind refuses to register a word

And from time to time

I watch the clock

Can’t wait for the bell to go off

And release me from this lost battle
